In response to article, “Gay Rights? A Pathway to Hell” I have a gay couple, Ben and Russ, following this blog. Since they’ve adopted a child, I can’t imagine they’re following this blog because they agree with my position. I certainly hope I’m wrong and their child has a great childhood and does well, and doesn’t end up like these other adoptees:

and we are just now opening the floodgates…
The implication is that there is something about being gay that causes abuse. Of course, if that were true, no straight parent would ever abuse their child. And we know that’s not true.

I recognize straight parents do abuse their children, but step parents have a bit of a reputations, and gay men seem to be the worst abusers. If you don’t believe me, ask the Catholic Church about gay priests.
The research I have also says gays disprportionately abuse: http://www.familyresearchinst.org/2008/12/homosexual-child-molestations-by-foster-parents-illinois-1997-2002/
I suspect evidence will mount, but will be suppressed by a media openly in favor of homosexuality.

No. Ask the Catholic Church about pedophile priests.
Pedophilia and homosexuality are not the same thing.

No pedophilia and homosexuality aren’t the same thing, but most of the pedophilia was being performed by gay priests. Emphasizing the difference was how the media was able to bash the church while not criticizing homosexuality.

Where is your basis for saying that?

Profile of the victims[edit]
The John Jay report found that 81% of the victims were male. 22% of victims were younger than age 10, 51% were between the ages of 11 and 14, and 27% were between the ages 15 and 17 years.[50][66
If they weren’t gay, they would be abusing girls.

Assuming that pedophiles differentiate between genders when it comes to their desires, which psychologists say they don’t. And assuming that catholic priests would have regular access to girls, which they don’t. They have regular access to boys.

You asked for evidence they were gay, and I produced it. You say they pedophiles don’t have a preference, but there’s an 80/20 spread. The no access thing is just bull. Face it. There were a bunch of gay priests, and they abused a lot of boys.

Really? When exactly did the Catholic church start allowing altergirls?

I think they started allowing altar girls in the ’70’s or ’80’s. Don’t forget priests run schools, summer camps, stay at people’s houses and so on. Clearly they have always had access to girls and had no problem finding that 20% to abuse.
